How it all started...
Hi! My name is Gianna and I started The Coop Scoop Homestead in 2024! It all started with some chickens and went on from there.

I was getting an influx in chicken eggs and didn't know what to do with all of them. I then had a little Farmstand (thanks to my awesome dad) created to sell the surplus of eggs. That, coupled with hearing about the growing popularity of sourdough and trying it out for myself, a new era was created.
I am constantly expanding my homestead in a few ways. I grow flowers to cut for bouquets which I put at the stand when available. There is also the occasional extra produce that is added to the stand in the summer months.

This year I am taking it even further and experimenting with natural and local resources from livestock to make it into skincare products.

The Farmstand is out from Spring to Fall and is located on Cold Brook Road in Homer, NY. Please read our Facebook page for details on how the stand operates.

This bakery operates under NYS Cottage Food Laws and Gianna is an approved Home Processor.
